Updated: ,4 min

The SwapSpace Blog publishes practical guides, explainers, reviews, and comparisons to help readers understand cryptocurrencies, blockchain technology, wallets, and platforms.

Our goal is to provide accurate, transparent, and useful information that helps readers make well-informed decisions.

This policy explains how we research, create, review, and update our content, and how we maintain editorial standards.

Who we are

SwapSpace is a non-custodial cryptocurrency exchange aggregator operating since 2019. It compares exchange offers from third-party providers and arranges them based on the top available rates with no SwapSpace markup.

The SwapSpace Blog is owned and operated by SwapSpace. Although our articles may discuss our own services, we apply the same standards of accuracy, transparency, and factual evaluation to SwapSpace as we do to other platforms.

Editorial independence

Our editorial team is in charge of making sure that articles are accurate, well-structured, and conclude with the correct findings. We do not publish sponsored content or accept payment for coverage or preferential placement.

Partnerships may lead to joint articles, product reviews, or other editorial coverage, but they do not influence product evaluations, selection criteria, or placement in comparisons. We prioritize factual accuracy, objectivity, and consistent evaluation standards.

When SwapSpace appears in a comparison or guide, we describe its capabilities and limitations using the same standards applied to other platforms. Product lists explain their selection criteria.

How we create and review content

Every article follows an editorial process:

  1. 1. Topic selection and research: We choose topics based on reader questions, search demand, industry developments, and gaps in existing coverage.
  2. 2. Research and drafting: Writers use credible sources, prioritize original documentation, and follow our editorial guidelines.
  3. 3. Editorial review and fact-checking: Editors check factual claims, sources, clarity, terminology, and compliance with our content standards. Unsupported claims are revised or removed.
  4. 4. Publication: Articles are published with an author byline and relevant publication or update information.

None of our content is financial, investment, legal, or tax advice. Articles that require it carry a disclaimer.

How we evaluate products

Listicles and reviews follow a consistent methodology:

  • Published criteria: each listicle includes a "How we selected" section that explains the criteria used to select the products.
  • Real trade-offs: every listed product is described with its limitations as well as its strengths.
  • One criterion, one measure: each criterion measures one thing. For example, open-source code and published security audits are evaluated separately, because they tell readers different things.
  • Evidence-based comparisons: we support evaluations with verifiable information, such as fees, supported networks, security audits, and product features.
  • Hands-on evaluation: where possible, we test products directly to assess their interface, exchange process, and available features. When hands-on testing is not performed, we base our evaluation on verified documentation and publicly available data. Unless explicitly stated, our reviews and comparisons do not involve hands-on testing.

Sourcing standards

We prioritize primary and authoritative sources, including official project documentation, blockchain explorers, regulatory publications, security audits, and original research.

We use established data providers and reputable industry publications for market data, independent analysis, and additional context.

We link to sources wherever possible, verify time-sensitive information before publication, and identify material discrepancies between sources. Claims that cannot be adequately supported are revised or removed.

Use of AI

Our team may use AI tools to support outlining, drafting, and translation checks.

AI does not decide what we publish, verify facts, or approve content. Our editors review AI-assisted content, verify factual claims against credible sources, and take responsibility for the accuracy and quality of published articles.

Keeping content up to date

We periodically review published articles, prioritizing content that contains time-sensitive information, such as prices, market capitalization, fees, and product availability. We also update articles when significant changes occur, or readers report inaccuracies.

Articles display an updated date when substantive changes are made.

Corrections and feedback

If you find an error, outdated information, or a claim you believe is inaccurate, contact us at support@swapspace.co. Please include the article link and a short description of the issue.

Our editorial team reviews every report. When we confirm an error, we correct the article.

Our team

Each article identifies its author and links to a profile containing their background, relevant experience, and published work.

Technical, regulatory, and other specialized articles may receive additional review. Articles including legal and regulatory topics, such as cryptocurrency privacy and tokenized assets, may undergo additional review by a legal specialist. When an additional review takes place, we name the reviewer who checked the article.
