Trading of games, services, and virtual assets on the platform is done through smart contracts for which users need UOS tokens. Moreover, all the features of the platform, for example, loyalty programs, bug reporting, etc. also require UOS tokens. Users and developers also get rewarded for holding UOS tokens.
The team behind the project is experienced in building global projects and platforms in Europe, North America, and Asia. David Hanson one of the co-founders of ultra has an 18-years of experience founding major gaming companies. Another co-founder Nicolas Gilot has experience in successfully multiplying the revenue of some well-known gaming projects such as Plants vs Zombies, Highnoon, and The Economist. The project advisors are known for their participation at AMD, Microsoft, and some elite investment banks. Altogether there are over 50 full-time collaborators with more than 150 years of experience in world-class companies like Apple, Dell, Google, Ubisoft, and Microsoft.
UOS is the native token of the platform. The total supply is 1 billion coins. 18% is distributed to the team with a one-year lock-up and 1.5-year vesting, 4.8% goes to the partners and advisors, 19% is allocated to the content acquisition, 15% went for the growth of the project with a one-year lock-up and two years vesting, just 1.2% of the total supply is sent to the marketing with half a year lock-up and half a year vesting. 10% of the tokens went to the company reserve, 9.54% of the total supply was held for a private sale, 10% went for IEO and 12% is locked for liquidity.
The project pledges to use 5% of the game sales profit for the development of the new games.
