Tamadoge (TAMA) is a cryptocurrency that was launched as a meme coin blockchain project in September 2022. Tamadoge's ecosystem is powered by its native token, TAMA, which is used for all transactions within Tamaverse, including NFT purchases and user-to-user transactions.

The name "Tamadoge" is a reference to the popular 90s virtual pet toy, Tamagotchi, created by Aki Maita from Bandai and Akihiro Yokoi from WiZ. Tamadoge introduced its metaverse, Tamaverse, from its inception, featuring a native NFT store. The project has rapidly gained a growing community and attracted significant interest in TAMA coins.

Tamaverse employs a play-to-earn (P2E) mechanism, where players are rewarded with TAMA tokens based on their performance in taking care of their virtual pets. The size of the prize pool is directly tied to the trading volume of the TAMA token. Players who excel in battles within the metaverse receive dogepoints and can compete for positions on the monthly leaderboard. At the end of each month, active and outstanding players receive TAMA tokens as a reward.

TAMA's roadmap includes its September 2022 launch with a presale and website introduction, as well as security audits and influencer marketing. In October 2022, it revealed Tamadoge Pets, an NFT Petstore, and entered initial CEX listings, alongside features like battling leaderboards. In January 2023, TAMA began exploring partnerships with established metaverse projects, continued CEX listings, and added more P2E giveaways. By April 2023, it put a major emphasis on CEX listings. And in July 2023, it introduced the Tamadoge P2E Arcade, offering a collection of games with physical rewards and token prizes.

At the heart of the Tamadoge ecosystem lies the TAMA token, a currency designed to power and enhance the Tamaverse experience, particularly the care and interaction with Tamadoge pets. TAMA serves as the primary medium through which users can create, nurture, breed, collect, engage in battles, and trade their digital pets.

Built on the Ethereum blockchain, TAMA is an ERC-20 token with a capped maximum supply of 2 billion coins. The distribution of these tokens is divided as follows: 50% allocated to the presale, 30% reserved for a 10-year unlock period to support the project's growth and development, and the remaining 20% set aside for the exchange pool.

TAMA's unique characteristic is its declining supply and ever-expanding exposure within the ecosystem.

To maintain the token's value and prevent rapid depreciation, the network imposes a 5% charge on purchases made in the online store on the Tamadoge platform. The collected tokens from these transactions are systematically burned, effectively reducing the overall supply and, in turn, contributing to the potential increase in the token's value. Additionally, 30% of these transaction fees are allocated to development and marketing efforts, with a portion used to bolster the prize pool.

Transactions within the network, such as the transfer of tokens, do not incur any additional tax, fostering a seamless and efficient user experience.
