Exchange Illuvium (ILV)

Illuvium is a decentralized, blockchain-based game built on Ethereum, that incorporates elements of blockchain technology, non-fungible tokens (NFTs), and decentralized finance (DeFi). The Illuvium ecosystem is designed to create a play-to-earn model, where players can earn rewards in the form of tokens by participating in the game.

The project is positioned as the world's pioneering "interoperable blockchain game." The project's team is constructing a Web3 gaming ecosystem where in-game assets, tokenized as NFTs, will possess usability across diverse platforms, products, and experiences. As an interconnected Web3 games ecosystem, Illuvium aspires to offer players an open environment where they have the freedom to create, utilize/trade their assets, and forge their in-game legacy.

Illuvium was founded by Kieran Warwick, a serial entrepreneur and early cryptocurrency adopter, and Aaron Warwick, an experienced game designer. They aimed to create a decentralized blockchain-based game with a play-to-earn model, incorporating elements of NFTs and DeFi within the gaming ecosystem. Illuvium has been in development since 2020 and involves a team of more than 40 individuals globally. 

While Illuvium relies on the security of the Ethereum blockchain, its foundation is established on Immutable X (IMX), a layer-2 solution crafted to enhance the scalability of applications featuring NFT functionality.

Through the utilization of Immutable X's capabilities, Illuvium provides a seamless experience for players, enabling them to mint and trade their NFTs without incurring gas fees and benefiting from nearly instantaneous transaction finality. Importantly, players retain full control and custody of their assets when engaging with IMX.

Illuvium incorporates DeFi elements to enable players to earn and trade tokens within the game. This includes staking, yield farming, and other DeFi mechanisms. The play-to-earn model is central to Illuvium's design. Players can earn rewards by actively participating in the game through battles, quests, or other in-game activities. These rewards are often in the form of the project's native tokens. 

The Illuvium’s ecosystem includes an integrated decentralized exchange (DEX) platform aptly named the IlluviDEX. This platform facilitates the trustless exchange of Illuvium assets, including Illuvial NFTs. A 5% fee is levied on each sale, with the proceeds directed into the rewards pool for ILV stakers.

Illuvium is a full-fledged video game with a downloadable desktop app. Players can explore an open-world landscape, battle creatures called Illuvials, and engage in quests and challenges.

Players collect Illuvials, which are unique creatures represented by non-fungible tokens (NFTs). Each Illuvial has different classes (Empath, Fighter, Guardian, Rogue, Psion) and affinities (Air, Earth, Fire, Nature, Water), making them variable in rarity, utility, and desirability.

Illuvials have various attributes such as attack damage, attack speed, and savagery, which determine their strength in combat. They can get stronger with victories, be enhanced with in-game items, and be upgraded into a special "ascended" form with two affinities.

Illuvials can be freely traded on external exchange platforms and the gas-free IlluviDEX. They can also be fused into more powerful forms, with normal, holographic, and dark holographic variants that vary in scarcity.

Players can make in-game purchases of items, crafting components, cosmetics, and shard curing. Revenue generated from these purchases is distributed as rewards to those staking the ILV tokens through an ILV buyback system.

The project's team is actively engaged in developing multiple games, the primary one being the initially conceived Pokemon-like title named "Overworld." In this game, players navigate a vibrant 3D landscape, engaging in battles with rare and formidable creatures called "Illuvials."

The second game is a title with a focus on industry-building, enabling players to purchase, own, and develop NFT-based LAND. Resources gathered through this endeavor can be utilized not only in the Overworld but potentially in other titles within the Illuvium ecosystem. This second game, known as "Illuvium Zero," is accessible on both mobile and desktop platforms.

The ILV token serves multiple purposes within the Illuvium ecosystem. It is the primary token used to reward players for in-game achievements, provides entitlement to a share of the Illuvium Vault, and is used for participating in the governance of the game through the Illuvium decentralized autonomous organization (DAO). ILV holders can participate in the governance of the Illuvium ecosystem, contributing to decision-making processes.

A designated portion of 3 million ILV, equivalent to 30% of the maximum supply (10 million), is earmarked for the Illuvium yield farming program. This allocation will be distributed over a three-year period to users contributing liquidity and participating in various partner reward schemes.

ILV (Illuvium) crypto tokens are available on various cryptocurrency exchanges, including Coinbase, Huobi, Uniswap, Binance, etc. 

The average fees on the Illuvium network 

A 5% fee is deducted from each sale on the IlluviDEX (Illuvium's decentralized exchange), with the proceeds directed into the rewards pool for ILV stakers.

Illuvium offers free access to its platform, but users seeking a more comprehensive gaming experience can acquire ILV and sILV tokens. These tokens provide access to additional in-game assets.

Transaction fees for ILV  will be incurred as per standard ERC-20 token operations.
