Since the beginning of 2022 both NEXO and FTM tokens have been pretty volatile. In the middle of March, the price of NEXO token went up while the FTM price chart was declining. At that time the NEXO to FTM conversion rate was around 1.7-1.83. But in less than a week the Fantom token flipped the trend and the price of NEXO in FTM went down to 1.63.

The price of both assets kept declining as the whole crypto market was experiencing strong bearish trends. FTM was losing value faster than NEXO and the NEXO/FTM trading pair price changed from 1.19 at the beginning of April to 2.2 by the end of the month. At that time NEXO was quickly recovering its value while FTM dropped even more, which caused NEXO to FTM exchange ratio to skyrocket to 3.4.

In the first week of May, the NEXO to FTM price chart went back to 2.5 and was slightly increasing as NEXO was outperforming Fantom token. In the middle of May, the crypto market suffered a significant drop in the assets’ prices. It affected both NEXO and FTM tokens, though Fantom was losing price faster. On May 12 traders paid 4.5 FTM tokens to swap NEXO. 

In the last 3 weeks, the FTM token was quite stable with attempts for a price recovery, while the Nexo price chart continued to decline. The price of NEXO in FTM kept bouncing between 3.0 and 3.4
