The price of the yield.finance native token in BTC kept declining from the end of October as the crypto market was starting to get bullish at that point. In the first days of November to swap YFI with BTC traders paid around 0.1642, but from November 5 the conversion rate started growing and reached 0.1753 in 2 days.
That was just the first stage of a strong uptrend, that took the YFI to BTC exchange ratio to 0.392 by November 18. The YFI to BTC price chart couldn’t maintain such a high price level for a long time, and after just a day trading at this level went back. After 5 days the YFI to BTC conversion rate dropped to 0.2123. It recovered slightly in the coming days, going up to 0.23 and then establishing a more steady downtrend. From November 24 to December 31 the YFI to BTC price chart was going down and by the last day of 2023 reached 0.1949.
On January 1 the YFI to BTC conversion rate dropped to 0.17 and stayed at this lower level for another 2 days, then grew a little bit to 0.188 and continued moving down. By February 12 the YFI to BTC exchange ratio was at 0.1551 and kept showing the signs of the downtrend that will most probably prevail over the price chart in the next weeks.
