Exchange Qredo

Qredo is a cross-chain protocol for asset managers and traders that are actively using markets. It aims to participate in building the digital economy of the future. Qredo protocol is an open-source permissionless network.

The project has its own creative solution for how to bring liquidity and capital efficiency to the blockchain. Qredo pioneered its first decentralized trustless multi-party computation custodial network. It allows Qredo to offer decentralized custody, native cross-chain swaps, and cross-platform liquidity access. That’s a new and very advanced area of blockchain development. Qredo utilizes the latest innovations in cryptography and decentralized ledger technology to create a powerful global network of securing and trading digital assets. 

The official website of the project has a blog section that includes a lot of articles explaining the main concepts of the protocol, the ideas, and the vision of the project. 

The project team consists of Antony Foy, a serial entrepreneur and a digital veteran with over 20 years of experience, and Brian Spector, a cybersecurity expert and serial entrepreneur with prior experience in advanced cryptography. In 2021 they were joined by Josh Goodbody, who is a well-known operational executive with experience in scaling the world’s biggest cryptocurrency exchanges, such as Binance and Huobi Global. 

Qredo headquarters are located in London and the project has its development offices in Sofia, Bulgaria. The project also has a set of its own fintech services, that are audited and backed by the venture’s capital. 

The network is run by the open, distributed network of Qredo validators that operate multi-party computation protocols to secure deposits, govern the market activity of the participants, validate transactions, and issue new blocks. Version 1 of the Mainnet was live until the second half of 2021 when it moved to the Federated Model under the Version 3 Testnet when a curated set of third-party validators started to operate the nodes. With the increasing number of third-party validators, the Qredo network moves to a fully decentralized model.

The members of the Qredo community are made up of individuals from all over the world that share the passion for Qredo’s mission and vision and are willing to contribute to its success through the Qreed Ambassador program. 

The advantage here is that Qredo is not dangerous for digital assets’ centralized custodian’s business standard. Moreover, the project aims to give an option for centralized custodians to expand the business and sustain relevancy as the world adopts the decentralized infrastructure. 

QRDO is the native utility and governance token of the project, as the Qredo network is designed to have a user-centric incentive structure, meaning that the participants of the Qredo network will be rewarded for certain activities. Such an architecture considers the required incentives for each participant to drive a network effect. 

The QRDO token can be stacked with validators for earning staking yield. 

Average Fees on the Qredo Network 

Decentralized custody on Qredo is free. To transfer QRDO to the other network user is around 0.5 BPS. Trading fees may vary from platform to platform, but in general, it doesn’t cost over 0,2%.

Many well-known crypto wallets support the QRDO tokens. Additionally, Qredo has its own Qredo wallet. It can also be held in Ledger, Atomic Wallet, Meta Mask, Token Pocket, Assure Wallet, Freewallet, Math Wallet, Safe Pal, Ambire wallet, and Argent Wallet.
