Exchange Prosper (PROS)

Prosper is a custodial cross-chain prediction market and hedging platform on the Binance Smart Chain. The platform’s team works on creating a unique technology of an on-chain liquidity aggregation. The platform allows users to earn by setting their predictions. To provide the most accurate market prices, the project uses the Chainlink oracle. The platform supports not only crypto but also fiat currencies. 

Interestingly the Prosper platform doesn’t have a WhitePaper or a detailed explanation on its official website, which is considered a red flag for some investors. It’s known that the project is created and managed by a facility in Estonia. 

Prosper uses smart contracts functionality. It doesn’t have any access or control over the users’ wallets. The further goal of the project is to employ a pool system as an operational model. There are meant to be 3 regular predictions at the 15th, 30th, and 6th minute of each hour with a total of 168 prediction pools a day. The prediction price of a new pool is based on moving averages and technical analysis. There are also will be pools with custom price options. 

To solve the problem of liquidity for the users’ market predictions, Prosper implements the binary model of liquidity provision. Users are able to create their own pools under their own conditions. To do so the user needs to hold a certain amount of Prosper tokens in his or her wallet. 

The project currently works on implementing an insurance feature. Users reserve some amount (max 10% of the prediction amount) of the Prosper token at the time when they place the prediction. Each prediction pool has its insurance fund. When the rewards are distributed, 15% of the prize amount is taken to pay back the users who lost their prediction but reserved some funds for the insurance. The distribution is linearly based on the reserved amount. 

Users can only claim their prizes within 48 hours after the bet. They can bet on both bulls and bears. 

PROS is the Binance Smart Chain standard token of the Prosper platform. It is used as a prediction insurance token and also for governing the platform through the prosper DAO. The commissions and fees on the platform are also paid in PROS tokens. The token first appeared on the market in January 2021. 

0.62% of the tokens were allocated to the presale, 3% to the private sale, and 4% were sent to the seed sale, 5% are meant for strategic development, 7% were sold through the public sale, 5% - were allocated to the community, 10% reserved, 13.37% of the tokens went to the team advisors and 30% are meant for the staking rewards. 

Recently, Coinmarketcap and CoinGecko updated the asset's circulating supply, confusing many users. This started the gossip of the team diluting the supply for illegal gains, but the project addressed its users in the medium account, explaining that up to that date many of the tokens were locked and, while reflected in the circulation, not circulating. The numbers published on Coinmarketcap and CoinGecko started to display 19.24 million tokens that were put by the project team and investors. The team published proof that the increase in the circulation amount is not related to any token sales. The total supply of PROS tokens is set to 100 million.

As the Prosper platform is based on the Binance Smart chain it offers very low fees for trading at around 0.2% or lower.
