Exchange Kollect (KOL)

Kollect is a blockchain-based gaming platform focused on card collection games. The platform utilizes blockchain technology and non-fungible tokens (NFTs) to create a gamified experience with play-to-earn incentives.

Kollect aims to empower an NFT economy by integrating collectible gamification and play-to-earn elements into card collection games. The platform addresses inefficiencies in the current card collectibles market, where manual verification and time-consuming processes are prevalent. Kollect employs NFTs and blockchain to streamline transactions and provide digital ownership through NFTs for each intellectual property (IP).

Kollect stands out as the inaugural yield-generating and IP-centric NFT collection book within the GameFi sector. By acquiring Kollect NFTs, users can finalize lucrative collection books that generate yields and engage in on-chain battles with friends through unique play-to-earn card games. 

The platform was launched in the third quarter of 2021. The founding team includes members such as Vincenzo Lee, Harry Lim, Ethan Chae, and Joy Choi. Kollect envisions becoming a central hub for NFT collectibles and play-to-earn games, offering a comprehensive ecosystem for users.

The platform rewards users for participating in card collection, providing its native token as incentives. Collectors can choose to acquire card packs necessary for completing their collection books. Upon opening these packs, the cards become uniquely owned by the user through NFT technology. Owners can include these distinctive cards in both public and private collection books to contribute to the ecosystem. The system evaluates and rewards these contributions, allowing users to continuously build their collections and contribute to collection books for additional rewards.

Through the Kollect network, users can obtain digital ownership of IPs through NFTs, ensuring rarity and mitigating the risk of digital fraud. These NFT-enabled digital cards are also tradable assets.

Collection Book System (Kollect.book) has a built-in play-to-earn feature, enabling users to strategically stake their cards in different collection books to maximize rewards. Kollect publishes games through Kollect.game, where users can use their collected NFT cards in real gameplay. The first game in the ecosystem is a play-to-earn battle card game with both PvP and PvE modes.

The Kollect ecosystem includes several components: 

• Kollect.market: The primary marketplace where users can collect NFTs, with trading cards issued in Kollect.packs containing ten cards.
• Kollect.cards: Obtained by purchasing NFTs from Kollect.market.
• Kollect.book: Responsible for collecting and gamifying assets. Users can merge Kollect.book with a crypto token incentive design, encouraging users to stake their NFTs.
• Kollect.game: A game launcher for play-to-earn games based on different IPs published by Kollect.market.
• Kollect.trade: An exchange platform where users can trade, collect, and create Kollect NFTs.
• Kollect.DAO: A decentralized autonomous organization responsible for the asset's governance mechanism, automating decisions and facilitating cryptocurrency transactions on the blockchain.

KOL is the native ERC-20 token of the Kollect ecosystem. Users can use these tokens to purchase opening packs and synthesize cards. KOL holders have governance rights, allowing them to participate in decisions related to IP collaboration and collection book themes.

The KOL token has a total supply of 1 billion coins, and as of December 12, 2023, the self-reported circulating supply is 148.15 million KOL.

Transaction fees for the KOL token are contingent upon the prevailing fees and the current state of the Ethereum network.
