PIVX is a privacy-focused cryptocurrency that provides fast, secure, and anonymous transactions through its advanced Proof of Stake (PoS) system, incorporating technologies like zk-SNARKs for privacy. It's community-governed, where every PIVX holder can participate in decisions about the project's development. Users can earn rewards by holding their coins or running a masternode, which also helps maintain the network's services like instant transactions. PIVX’s Features:

• Optional privacy with zk-SNARKs also known as SHIELD. It is the most efficient method of privacy when it comes to regulations and also for users who may prefer the other benefits of using PIVX over privacy.
• Cold and hot staking. PIVX gives the best of both worlds and allows both standard staking which involves a user leaving their wallet running on a computer with the internet active in order to stake and potentially earn a reward, Alternatively users can delegate their PIVX to a cold staking node to stake on their behalf without giving up custody of the coins. This means users can still stake without the need to leave their wallet and computer running.
• Masternodes: Users can earn PIVX by locking 10,000 PIVX into a masternode, This will earn them some PIVX every 1-2 days based on the current masternode count. It will also allow them to take part in the governance feature of PIVX whereby masternodes can vote for ongoing proposals.
• 60-second block time for fast transactions.
• Decentralized governance. Throughout the existence of PIVX there will be a decentralized governance system that allows users to submit proposals to request funding, essentially meaning there is a way for development, listings and more to be continuously funded guaranteeing the longevity of the project.
• Deflationary supply model. All transaction fees are burnt, therefore, as PIVX gets more users on the network, it would essentially result in the supply decreasing.
• The light wallet with many of the network features and even a sub-service of the PIVX labs called PIVcards which essentially allows the PIV holder to buy thousands of global gift cards and to essentially live off PIVX.
